Nickel silver est souvent utilis\u00e9 dans le cadre de la fabrication de pi\u00e8ces souvenirs, il r\u00e9siste en effet relativement bien \u00e0 la d\u00e9coloration (li\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019oxydation).<\/li>\n<li>L&rsquo;alliage maillechort \u00e0 12\u00a0% est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement utilis\u00e9 pour les jetons de paiement tandis que le nouveau argent\u00a0 \u00e0 18\u00a0% est plut\u00f4t utilis\u00e9 \u00e0 des fins comm\u00e9moratives en raison de sa couleur argent brillant.<\/li>\n<li>Il pr\u00e9sente la m\u00eame qualit\u00e9 que le laiton, mais est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme un alliage s\u00fbr. Les jetons en nickel silver\u00a0 sont difficiles \u00e0 copier, l\u2019alliage est en effet uniquement produit pour le monnayage.<\/li>\n<li>L&rsquo;alliage maillechort dispose d\u2019une signature \u00e9lectromagn\u00e9tique et d\u2019une densit\u00e9 sp\u00e9cifiques qui permettent aux valideurs de pi\u00e8ces \u00e9lectroniques de le distinguer facilement des autres
